At CES 2020 this week HYTE introduced their new keyboard in the form of the keeb SR65, which a custom mechanical keyboard design Developed for keyboard enthusiasts and gamers with a form factor of 65%. the Element SR65 will be a limited edition of only 1,000 pieces with a 5-pin hot-swappable PCB for future keyboard modifications and wider keyboard-switch compatibility.
The fully featured HYTE keeb SR65 mechanical keyboard is available for pre-order starting January 14th in the US and Canada with a starting price of $ 400. The barebone HYTE keeb SR65 is available for pre-order on the same day for $ 350, with both keyboards expected to ship in May 2022. “Housed in a matt polycarbonate base with a top case made of glass bead-blasted, matt silver aluminum, the Keeb comes complete with Durock V2 Gold Wire stabilizers and a choice of three Durock switch variants: Linear ‘Pink’ (65 g below), Linear ‘Yellow ‘(55 g bottom-out) and Tactile’ Teal ‘T1 (67 g bottom-out). A barebone version of the keeb SR65 is also made available to customers who wish to use their own switches, keycaps and stabilizers. To further improve the user experience, keeb comes standard with a completely new suspended seal bracket for improved typing noise and feel. “
“With 138 RGB LEDs that illuminate each key and surround the perimeter of the keeb SR65, customers experience immersive light shows that are diffused through the matt polycarbonate base and projected onto the desktop surface. By using the AI-controlled HYTE Nexus software, users can synchronize the Keeb with computer screens, background animation and music. HYTE nexus has been trained with over 1,000 songs and is being further developed with additional music variants in order to optimize the RGB lighting results and to represent the music played in the best possible way. “
