Tesla Has started selling the Cyberquad, but it’s not the ATV it was previewed revealed its electric truck in 2019. No, the Cyberquad, which you can buy from the automaker’s store right now, is a much smaller version of the vehicle for kids – and yes, it actually works.
The four-wheel ATV is powered by a lithium-ion battery and, like its larger version, is operated electrically. It has a range of 15 miles with a configurable top speed of 10 miles / h, a full steel frame, a padded seat, adjustable suspension and LED light strips. In other words, it looks like a shrunk version of a legitimate ATV.
A small Cyberquad costs you $ 1,900 and is expected to ship within the next two to four weeks. But before you really think about buying it as a gift for your child for Christmas, know that Tesla says that orders are not guaranteed to arrive before the holidays. Additionally, it is currently only available from Tesla’s US store and can only be shipped to the continental United States.
We first saw the Cyberquad (the actual adult one) at the Cybertruck event, where it drove onto the back of the truck to show how its adaptive suspension allows for easier loading. Musk then confirmed that it will initially be available as an option to Cybertruck buyers.
